Let' Start with a dose of something everyone could relate with
Proposal is a charmer with a detailed pitch which might be a little less believable but it certainly would make you wonder of its potential wherether it would be achievable whereas Deal on the other side is a closer which is something generally followed by a handshake and a gesture like 'We love the Idea, here is the contract, let's sign it and start working'

Think about it as a friend who not only talks about a road trip but shows up with a car , a map and snacks, ready to hit the road with not just talk but actions that defines it.


Proposal is something that sounds interesting but might not be deliverable at same time however a deal happens after negotiating the terms tweaking the proposal and finally agreeing

Proposal is equivalent to marriage proposal, it's all about promises and possibilities, something that is filled with potential, ideas and excitement whereas a deal is a wedding with official commitment of 'I Do', roles are defined and contracts are signed

Now that we know the difference between both the terms, it's important to know what makes a successful proposal turn into a deal as proposal is a must complete stage of a deal, without your upcoming partner acknowledging your proposal, deal could not be proceeded with.

Tenacity and Excitement of the party reaching is one of the factor behind it but in the end it's all about what your startup can offer to the business of other startup and how demanding is your expectations from other side.


Proposal without a deal is just a Dream and Deal without a proposal is like getting marriage without dating
